 Silver Moua is a Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) student at University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Minnesota where she is investigating the effect of summer physical activity and nutrition on childhood obesity. In addition to pursuing BSN, Silver has more than five years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings from clerical to clinical and holds several other degrees related to Medical Administration as well as Medical Billing. Silver has successfully applied her knowledge and expertise within private and government sector (Department of Defense) as well as non-profits to bring solutions to some our most difficult healthcare and public health challenges. Silver is the Fundraiser Director for the Minnesota Nursing Student Board (MNSB). She is in charge of finding and creating events to raise funds for MNSB and other non-profit charities. Silver’s knowledge, interest and background in healthcare has led her to plan for further education as a Nurse Practitioner and minor in Public Health after graduation.
